Mortenson Profit Sharing Campaign
- Client: Mortenson, one of the nation’s largest construction services firms
- Awards: Gold Hermes Creative Award; First Place Eddy Award; First Place PSCA Signature Award
- The challenge: Mortenson asked Blue Communications to help announce great news to their employees: 2010 profit sharing contributions would be the highest in the company’s history! Appropriately, they also wanted to take the opportunity to educate employees about the plan’s savings opportunities and investment options.
- Our concept: Postcards, brochures, stationery system and more. The brochure was printed on a vintage paper that melded perfectly with the rich history of the entertainment company.
- Results: “Solid Gold for 50 Years” emphasized not only the need to celebrate record profit-sharing amounts, but coincided with the 50th anniversary of Mortenson’s Profit Sharing Plan. Employees received a variety of print and e-materials, participated in a Solid Gold Trivia Quiz testing their knowledge of song hits over the years, and were invited to celebrations held throughout the U.S. to learn more about the plan.
